This Thanksgiving, Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) ‒ the team delivering and maintaining the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project ‒ is giving thanks to some of the local project communities and helping those most in need.

PWKP is donating 220 turkeys ‒ one for each completed bridge so far ‒ to a total of 12 local food banks and community associations that have been selected based on the number of completed bridges in their given area.

The table below provides a list of the PennDOT Districts along with the number of completed bridges for each district. The table also lists the number of turkeys that will be provided and the names of the organizations receiving the PWKP donations.

PWKP employees began hand-delivering the turkeys on November 13 and finished on November 17, 2017, in time for Thanksgiving celebrations.

“The PWKP team remains committed to giving back and supporting the communities in which we work and live,” said Matt Girard, Project Executive for PWKP. “We are honored to contribute 220 turkeys to families across Pennsylvania who otherwise may not have been able to celebrate with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.”

“We were pleased to increase to our turkey donations this year and provide an opportunity for those less fortunate to start the holiday season with family and friends around the dinner table. From everyone who works on the Pennsylvania Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving” said Ed Dice, PWKP Project Delivery Manager.
