This Thanksgiving, Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) ‒ the team delivering and maintaining the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project ‒ is giving thanks once again to some of the local project communities and helping those most in need.
PWKP is donating 180 turkeys ‒ one for each bridge completed in 2018 ‒ to a total of 12 local food banks, shelters and community associations that have been selected based on the number of completed bridges in their given area.
The table below provides a list of the PennDOT Districts along with the number of turkeys that were provided, and the names of the organizations receiving the PWKP donations.
PWKP employees began hand-delivering the turkeys on November 9 and finished on November 15, in time for Thanksgiving celebrations.
“For the third year in a row, the PWKP team is proudly supporting more than a dozen of our bridge-replacement districts by donating 180 Thanksgiving turkeys to organizations that support those most in need,” said Matt Girard, Project Executive for PWKP.
“It’s always been important to the PWKP team to demonstrate gratitude and appreciation to our project communities. We’re thankful to live and work where we do, and we hope this year’s turkey donations provide an opportunity for those less fortunate to also be thankful this year. From everyone who works on the Pennsylvania Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving” said Ed Dice, PWKP Project Delivery Manager.
