Plenary Americas recognized with five awards at 2026 P3 Awards

Plenary Americas is pleased to announce that the company and its project partners were recognized with five awards across four categories at the 2026 P3 Awards in New York City, including Sponsor/Developer of the Year, Best Social Infrastructure Project, Best Operational Project and Best Utilities Project.

The awards recognize excellence and innovation in public-private partnerships and infrastructure development throughout the Americas.

They said its leadership in progressive P3 delivery, combined with the highest number of financial closes and clear public sector value, set it apart.

Project achievements recognized at the awards included:

• Best Social Infrastructure Project for the QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion Project.
  • Regarded by the judges as an outstanding social infrastructure project, they were impressed by its demonstration of exceptional leadership, adaptability, and commercial discipline in challenging market conditions. The judges praised this project’s combination of scale, innovation, and strong public-private collaboration to deliver a future-ready health asset with clear long-term value, supported by compelling evidence of performance.
    
• Highly Commended Social Infrastructure Project for The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children.
  • The judges considered this project to be a highly impressive and ambitious healthcare P3 that was worthy of recognition. Distinguished by its scale, progressive delivery model, and clear public value, the project demonstrates strong innovation in procurement, financing, and risk management. The judges see this project as a commendable example of how complex social infrastructure can be advanced successfully
    
• Best Operational Project for the Thunder Bay Consolidated Courthouse.
  • In a sensitive social infrastructure setting of this scale, the judges found the high level of reliability to be especially impressive. They also praised the sense of community value that the project exudes, with clear evidence of social impact and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. They welcomed the testimonial, which they felt further reinforces the high regard in which the operating team is held.
    
• Best Utilities Project for the Georgia Department of Transportation Statewide Broadband Operations, Maintenance and Commercialization Project.
  • The judges considered this project to be an outstanding and highly innovative P3 model that demonstrates how a state can align incentives while preserving public ownership and limiting exposure to technology risk. They praised its impressive scale and its forward-looking approach, offering a strong model for transportation agencies seeking to deliver broadband infrastructure for the future.
