Paul Dunstan, founder of Plenary Group (North America), was honoured today with the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships’ (CCPPP) 2016 Champion Award. The award is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves by making an outstanding contribution to public-private partnerships in Canada.
The Awards Panel singled out Paul Dunstan as a long-time and strong advocate for P3s who has been instrumental in the development of the P3 market in Canada. Paul’s vision and drive led Plenary to become a P3 market leader in multiple jurisdictions across the country and positioned the firm for the success it has experienced in the US market.
“Paul is an excellent choice as the 2016 recipient of the Champion Award,” said CCPPP President and CEO Mark Romoff. “Paul’s work at Plenary has helped P3s in Canada to evolve into a model the rest of the world looks to and learns from. The industry has benefited from his contributions and the Council is honoured to add his name to the list of esteemed CCPPP Champions.”
