This holiday season, our thoughts turn gratefully to those frontline workers who continue to support our communities. We also give thanks to our incredible team, clients, partners and supporters.
On behalf of Plenary Americas, we wish you health and happiness for the holidays and coming year.
This year, we are proudly supporting numerous local charities in the communities in which we live and work, including:
The Food Bank – providing access to healthy food, education and training to those in need.
Holiday Helpers – providing one-time customized Christmas packages for families with young children who are living in low-income situations. Each family receives an artificial tree, decorations, gift card for a warm meal and personalized gifts.
Midnight Mission – this organization offers a path to self-sufficiency through shelter, resources and support services for men, women and children experiencing homelessness.
The Shoebox Project– a charity that collects and distributes gift-filled shoeboxes for women impacted by homelessness and domestic violence. Shoeboxes are filled with items that help enhance self-esteem and reduce feelings of isolation for women in need.
WomenShelter of Long Beach– assists victims of domestic abuse and their children by providing safe housing and supportive services, including: an emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, social services support, legal and health advocacy.
The Christmas Bureau – empowering families in need to create Christmas experiences for their kids through the generosity of community. Families are able to select gifts and food vouchers that have been donated by community organizations.
Because I am a Girl – a global initiative that is working to advance girls’ rights by helping them unleash their inherent power and potential. This organization provides a platform, opportunities and support for girls to become leaders and make change happen.
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) – Canada’s most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children’s health in the country.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles– a non-profit institution providing pediatric health care with more than 350 pediatric specialty programs offered to children and families in Southern California.
