Plenary – North American Sponsor of the Year

Project Finance Magazine has announced Plenary Group as the North American Sponsor of the Year at its 12th Annual Deals of the Year Awards in New York.

The Award judges noted Plenary had won four and closed three major deals in Canada during 2010, further establishing itself in the health, justice and road sectors.

They also noted that its consistency in approach – including using PCL Constructors as its go-to engineering, procurement and construction contractor – enabled Plenary to achieve a reputation for reliability in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Plenary Group Canada President, Mr Paul Dunstan, said it was wonderful recognition for the entire North American team and the enormous capacity for hard work and innovation they had demonstrated over several years.

Mr Dunstan said, “We also want to acknowledge the support and constant effort of our government clients and our consortium partners who work tirelessly alongside our team to get the best outcomes for the community”.

Plenary Group has won and financially closed 16 P3 and PPP projects across the Canadian and Australian markets which have a project capitalisation in excess of $6.6 billion.
