Plenary embarks on fifth year of Bachar Houli Foundation partnership

AUSTRALIA and UAE – For the fifth consecutive year, Plenary Group has partnered with the Bachar Houli Foundation, a community-based organisation that aims to empower the next generation of young Muslim leaders through sport.

Supported by Plenary, the foundation’s annual international Elite Performance Camp is a key component of the foundation’s 12-month Elite Performance Academy, designed to shape well-rounded leaders who excel on and off the field.

“Ultimately, it’s about giving back. Plenary has been an amazing supporter now for a number of years. We have similar values and we work very well together,” Foundation founder Bachar Houli said.

The camp continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of participants and provides a valuable opportunity for young Australian Muslim footballers to develop their leadership, identity, and physical performance on an international stage and accelerate their pathway into AFL talent programs.

At the end of 2025, eight 15–18-year-old budding footballers participated in the eight-day camp, journeying to the Dubai and Abu Dhabi to train at elite facilities, develop leadership skills, play friendly matches and experience cultural immersion in the UAE.
