Chris leads the development and implementation of Plenary’s communications and stakeholder engagement strategies at a corporate level and across Plenary’s projects and communities.



Responsibilities include media and external communications, market positioning, stakeholder and community engagement, and ESG initiatives.



He leads Plenary&#8217;s <a href="https://plenary.com/apac/about/reconciliation">reconciliation</a> journey, championing Plenary’s reconciliation initiatives with First Nations peoples and organisations in Australia. In 2020, he led the development of Plenary’s inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan and, as chair of the RAP working group, leads its ongoing implementation.



Chris joined Plenary in 2015 with more than a decade of experience across the public and private sectors.



He acts a Trustee on behalf of Plenary for the <a href="https://www.ceda.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Committee for Economic Development of Australia</a>, is Acting Deputy Chair of the Victorian Government&#8217;s <a href="https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/regional-partnerships/central-highlands" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Central Highlands Regional Partnership</a> advisory board, is a board member of the <a href="https://ballaratfoto.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ballarat International Foto Biennale</a> and is a former board member and treasurer of the <a href="https://www.iabcvic.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Victorian chapter of International Association of Business Communicators</a>.



Chris is a graduate of the <a href="https://www.aicd.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Australian Institute of Company Directors</a>, holds a Master of Business with Distinction from <a href="https://www.rmit.edu.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RMIT University</a> and a Bachelor of Commerce from <a href="https://www.deakin.edu.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Deakin University</a>.

LONDON, UK – The <a href="https://plenary.com/middle-east/project/khalifa-university-student-accommodation">Khalifa University Student Accommodation PPP Project</a> has won Best Social Infrastructure Project at the <a href="https://www.partnershipsawards.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2026 Partnerships Awards</a>.



The awards program is the biggest celebration of excellence in the public-private partnership (PPP) industry across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, UK and Europe.



The&nbsp;Khalifa University Student Accommodation project&nbsp;– of which Plenary is sponsor, investor, financial and commercial arranger, facilities manager and SPV manager&nbsp;– is a groundbreaking transaction and the largest of its kind in the Middle East, setting a benchmark for student-centric PPPs in the region.



The judges noted the transformative aspect of the project, which includes a 23-year concession to design, build, finance and maintain 3,260 student rooms, and commended the significant beneficial outcomes that can be achieved through a well-structured PPP asset.



The Khalifa University Student Accommodation project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
