Newcastle Mater Hospital
Newcastle Mater public hospital in Waratah, New South Wales, is the major cancer care centre for the Hunter New England Local Health District, delivering more than 320,000 occasions of outpatient services and in excess of 16,000 inpatient treatments per year.
It provides a 24/7 emergency department, intensive care unit, and extensive Palliative Care services. Hunter New England Local Health District’s Mental Health facility and Breastscreen NSW are also located on the Mater campus.
Plenary provides SPV services to NovaCare, who is responsible for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of the hospital.
