LONDON, UK – Plenary welcomes Alex Yew, who has commenced as Non-Executive Director and Senior Advisor to Plenary’s burgeoning business in Europe.
Alex joins Plenary with more than 25 years of experience as a lawyer, banker and investor. Most recently, he was Senior Advisor and Senior Managing Director at John Laing where he worked in leadership positions for more than 14 years across project finance, new markets, strategy, partnerships, Europe and Latin America. He was also a member of the senior leadership team and investment committee.
Prior to that, Alex was a Director in the infrastructure advisory team at CIBC World Markets in London as well as a banker and lawyer in Southeast Asia.
Alex is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and in Singapore.
Plenary Chief Investment Officer Paul Crowe said Alex and the team will focus on greenfield infrastructure investment, particularly in the transport and social infrastructure sectors as Plenary pursues opportunities across Europe and the UK.
