LONDON, UK – Plenary Group welcomes Richard Osborne, who has joined Plenary’s European office in London as an Executive Director.
Richard joins with more than 20 years of experience in civil and social infrastructure; most recently as senior vice president at Macquarie Capital where he worked on more than €4b of successful project finance investments and public private partnerships in Ireland, UK and across Europe.
Richard led all of Macquarie Capital’s PPP investments in Ireland, including the successful tender and closing of social infrastructure projects such as the first Irish Social Housing Bundle, the Dublin Institute of Technology Grangegorman PPP, and the Higher Education Bundle 1.
Prior to that, he worked for 12 years as a Chartered civil engineer working across major construction projects and transport infrastructure in the UK.
Plenary Chief Investment Officer Paul Crowe said Richard and the team will focus on greenfield infrastructure investment as Plenary pursues social and transport infrastructure opportunities across Ireland, UK and mainland Europe.
“We welcome Richard and look forward to leveraging his impressive experience, particularly his success in Ireland, where Plenary will pursue greenfield opportunities in the social housing, justice and transport sectors,” Mr Crowe said.
