Khalifa City School PPP wins at Infra Global Awards

DUBAI, UAE – The Khalifa City School public-private partnership won PPP Deal of the Year, MENA at the Infra Global Awards 2025.

The awards ceremony, held in Dubai this year, honoured the region’s outstanding companies, transactions and individuals in the infrastructure sector.

The Khalifa City School – Zayed City Schools PPP augmentation project was procured within the existing Zayed City Schools PPP project. Led by Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the design and use of this augmentation framework to procure school infrastructure marks a first for the region.

ADIO led the augmentation process in collaboration with ADEK and the BESIX-Plenary Group project company. BESIX-Plenary delivered a value-for-money solution, subsequently reaching commercial and financial close.

The augmentation project comprises the design, build, finance, and 18-year operation and maintenance of a new campus, which will accommodate 3,380 students in Khalifa City.
