MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA and DUBAI, UAE – Plenary has continued its partnership with Bachar Houli Foundation to support its work in developing and empowering young Muslim leaders.

The foundation is a leader in its field, engaging and educating young leaders in the Australian Muslim community through programs focusing on engagement, education, employment and talent development.

Its Elite Performance Academy brings together the best young Muslim talent and leaders across Australia to enrich and develop their leadership skills, identity, physical performance, and provide experiences to help them become role models for the wider community.

Foundation founder Bachar Houli said Plenary has been an outstanding supporter of the program in recent years.

“2016 was the first international camp that we ran for our best 12 leaders in the country. We want them to be proud Muslims and have the mentality that they can achieve whatever they want in life,” Mr Houli said.

Plenary Chief Investment Officer Paul Crowe said the partnership was helping foster cultural connection with the Australian Muslim community, and in representing Australian culture in the Middle East as Plenary establishes its business there.

“Our continued support of the Bachar Houli Foundation follows our expansion into the Middle East, the success of our first project in the Middle East, the UAE’s first school infrastructure public-private partnership, the Zayed City Schools project,” Mr Crowe said.

“We look forward to continuing our work to foster strong cultural connections with the Muslim community in Australia and abroad.”
