We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join the Commercial Group with a focus on the management and growth of Plenary’s fiber broadband project portfolio. Plenary is a developer and investor in two middle-mile fiber optic projects, one in North Carolina and one in Pennsylvania. These projects are part of a broader growth strategy within communications infrastructure which is a strategic focus for Plenary. As Senior Manager, you would have direct responsibility for the successful management and long-term growth of existing and future fiber projects. You would report to the head of the Commercial Group and coordinate with the Delivery group responsible for the technical aspects of project delivery. In addition, you may be involved in the pursuit of new fiber / broadband projects in collaboration with the Project Structuring and Investments (PSI) and Delivery groups within Plenary.
The ideal candidate must be a lateral thinker with the ability to identify solutions to a wide spectrum of commercial issues that may arise. The candidate must have strong commercial and financial background. The candidate should have working knowledge of key aspects of fiber optic networks. You must demonstrate strong ownership, initiative, drive and commitment. Strong organizational, management, and communications skills are paramount to success in this role as it will involve teaming and coordination with equity partners, contractors, and public sector counterparties. This position is expected to be based in one of Plenary’s primary North American offices (Los Angeles, Denver, Tampa, Toronto, or Vancouver) with significant travel expected to North Carolina, Pennsylvania and other potential project sites.
